Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to traditional music, boleros from the past, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is a fan of Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form theatrical performance. Ana began learning to play the piano and sing at an early age with her mother. She was given more formal singing instruction when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. The beginning of her professional career saw her perform with many opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. When she moved from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. As an instructor and performer in the local area and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her involved in a range of initiatives. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to have the opportunity to be able to share her love for the tradition of Latin American music. She hopes this can inspire younger generations to continue the tradition.
